After the sucess of last year, our MBA Reunion Conference is back!
Taking place on the 7 March 2015 at the Cardiff School of Management we are inviting all MBA Alumni back for a special day of talks and networking.
The day will run from 10am - 4pm with activities in the evening.
We are very pleased to welcome back our host from last year, Dr Trefor Lewis plus a new host Dr Mukul Madahar.
Dr Trefor Lewis
Dr Trefor Lewis is an economist and educator with a special involvement in leadership and creativity. As an academic he retired as Director of Europe's largest on-campus MBA Programme.
He was born in Newport, Monmouthshire; won a scholarship to Newport High School, studied economics at California Western University in San Diego (graduation summa cum laude), Arizona State University and Cardiff University. He joined the Milk Marketing Board in the UK and became a Regional Manager. While in the United States, he worked for a number of large organisations and operated as a business consultant before entering academe.
Dr Mukul Madahar
Dr Mukul Madahar is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Programme Director for MBA Advanced Entry Programme at the Cardiff Metropolitan University. He holds a B. Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering with Honours), MBA, MSc (Information Systems), and his PhD is in the field of Spreadsheets and Risk Management.
He has worked in the industry as an HR/Recruitment consultant and has been involved with various consultancy projects. During his 13 years of association with the Cardiff Metropolitan University he has taught various modules related to Operations Management, Strategic Management, International Business and Research Methods and has held various management responsibilities on the MBA Programme. He has been involved with franchise partnerships of Cardiff Metropolitan University in Egypt, Bulgaria, Morocco, Sri Lanka and India. He was recently nominated for Vice Chancellor’s STAR Award for his work in international collaboration. He has reviewed books for McGraw-Hill Publications on International Business and Management. He has keen interest and active involvement in academic integrity at Cardiff Metropolitan University. He recently spent six weeks on scholarly assignment in USA tat the State University of New York as Visiting Faculty.
He has had involvement with INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences), EuSpRIG (European Spreadsheets Risk Interest Group) and AIS (Academy of Information Systems). He is also a Fellow of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) and a member of the Special Interest Group on ‘Internationalisation’. He is a Visiting Faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, India and on the Advisory Committee of their annual research conference. He has presented and published papers and chaired sessions in international conferences.
