150 Years of Nurturing Talent

2015 marked our 150th anniversary and what it's already been! Join us as we celebrate all that we have achieved over the last 150 years and look forward to what is yet to come.

Cardiff Metropolitan can trace its heritage back to 1865, with the formation of Cardiff's first School of Art and now in 2015, offers over 100 different courses, spread between five schools, across two campuses, with over 12,000 students. It is a truly global community, with connections stretching across the globe. In 2014, Cardiff Metropolitan recorded it's highest ever level of overall student satisfaction and remains the highest ranked 'new' (post 1992) university in Wales.

During this year of celebration, there will be a whole host of exciting events taking place, stay up to date with our events calendar or take a look at our interactive timeline and explore how Cardiff Met has evolved and grown over the years.
