The Estates and Facilites Department incorporates the previously independant Estates Services and Facilities Management departments. For the time being Customers will see little difference in our service delivery as we move forward with the integration of the two units. However, I am determined that our outlook will be "not just business as usual", but that we listen to the wider Cardiff Metropolitan University community and focus on the support of our core business strategies and to develop a new and exciting service delivery vehicle; capable of responding to the ever changing needs of the University positively and professionally.
Our mission is to work closely with our customers to:
Ensure that accomodation and facilities are provided which enable Cardiff Metropolitan University to deliver its strategic and operational objectives
Promote sustainability in all we do
Provide a quality and responsive service which we will continuously seek to improve
Provide a central source of expertise and support on Estates and Facilities related matters to Cardiff Metropolitan University as a whole

The primary responsiblity of commercial services is to provide the unviersitys students, staff and visitors with a range of professional services and facilities that support their day to day activies; in additon the division seeks to generate additional income surplusses for reinvestment back into the university.

Catering and Hospitality Services
The Timetable Unit:
Print and Copy services
University Smart Card (Met Card)
and various technical systems that underpin activies and facilities across the university.
Property Services primary function is to maintain and develop the physical property asset and to manage the day to day running of the Universitys facilites needs.
