The
Welsh Language Unit's principle role is to lead, advise on and assist
with matters that relate to the implementation of the Welsh Standards at
Cardiff Met. The unit works with staff and students from across the
University in order to implement the standards and offer practical
support in its implementation.
This may include holding language
awareness training, developing implementation plans for a department,
advising and answering questions about the standards, considering the
language skills of staff within a department and advising on appropriate
training and development plans.
