A CV is a marketing tool, designed to give a potential employer
essential information about you and your suitability for a vacancy. Employers and recruitment agencies may request
a copy of your CV at the start of the recruitment process.
You may also find that many employers will expect you to complete an application form to demonstrate
that you meet their job requirements. You will need to provide evidence of your
suitability for a particular role by providing examples, based on your previous
work history, life at University, work experience and volunteering.
Take a look at our CV Toolkit (.docx) to get started with writing your CV.
