Claire Morgan took on the role of Dean for Learning and Teaching in August 2015, and is responsible for providing strategic leadership for learning, teaching and assessment across the University and for the delivery of high quality and effective services through the Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU). She joined Cardiff Met from Cardiff University, where she held the post of College Associate Dean, leading, supporting and enhancing education provision across eight academic schools in the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, and also Associate Dean (learning and teaching) of Cardiff Business School.
Claire's background is as a Senior Lecturer in Economics, with 20 years' experience in higher education, with a specific interest in assessment policy and practice and quality systems. Claire has also been appointed to work for the Quality Assurance Agency as an academic Higher Education Reviewer and is also a member of the Qualification Wales Board, as well as a Governor for a local Comprehensive School.
