In this first video, Dan Heggs, Programme Director for the BSc Psychology Programme at Cardiff Metropolitan University and Moderator for a number of franchise partners, talks about his experience of the transition from Blackboard to Moodle. He describes how the new virtual learning environment will be used to create a more engaging and consistent learning experience for students on the programme. Dan also discusses the support he will offer colleagues within franchise institutions as part of his Moderator role.
In the below video, Katie, a recent Graduate of the Cardiff School of Management, talks about the transition to Moodle from a student perspective. She describes some of the ways in which Moodle tools, such as the glossary and reflective blog, were used within her programme of study to support and encourage learning.
