I have worked within the Learning and Teaching Development Unit at Cardiff Metropolitan University since January 2014 having previously worked within the institution as an Academic Skills Advisor within Library and Information Services between 2009 – 2011. During my career within Higher Education I have also researched, taught and published in the field of Religious Studies and also been responsible for developing curriculum based enterprise provision at institutions within the South Wales area.

I am responsible for developing undergraduate and postgraduate curricula within Cardiff Met which encompass several sub agendas: I am currently responsible for the development and promotion of education for sustainable development (ESD) as well as employability and professionally oriented learning provision within taught curricula across Cardiff Met. From a practical perspective this involves supporting academics to develop contemporary, engaging and relevant learning experiences for students, however more broadly such responsibilities involve organisational awareness raising of such agendas in order to contribute towards an institutional culture change.

I contribute to the running and administration of LTDU's CPD provision which includes the PgC THE upon which I deliver a number of teaching and learning workshops and the Cardiff Met accredited HEA Fellowship programme.  I also sit on the China and India focus groups.
