Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblowing)

The University is committed to conducting its business ethically and honestly and we expect all our staff to maintain high standards of behaviour. However, we also recognise that, like all other organisations, we face the risk of things going wrong on occasion. The University's Whistleblowing Policy aims to encourage staff to make disclosures relating to actual or potential danger, fraud or other illegal or unethical conduct that is in the public interest. The Policy has been written to take account of the provisions of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 and provides protection to employees raising genuine concerns.

A copy of the Policy can be accessed through the link on the right. If you wish to raise any issues under the Policy or require any additional information, please email whistleblowing@cardiffmet.ac.uk or get in touch with one of the Contacts listed in section 11 of the Policy.
