Sustainable Food

Catering at Cardiff Metropolitan University was awarded a silver rating for their business practices, by the Restaurant Association in June 2016. They were the first in Wales to win such an accolade.
The Sustainable Restaurant Association "commends Cardiff Metropolitan University on its sustainability initiatives and commitment to ethical best practices. The areas in which it performed well in the SRA Sustainability Rating should be promoted to inspire other UK universities and to showcase the work that Cardiff Met has put into making itself a sustainable university."
We have built upon this with our Gold submission - June 2017.
The annual review of our Sustainable Food Policy has been completed.
