Biography

Since moving to Cardiff in 2001, I have been both formally and informally engaged with the arts in Wales. In the past, I worked as an exhibitions assistant at St David's Hall, various roles at Chapter Arts Centre, working as an Information Officer at Cultural Enterprise (an arts advisory service), and providing support for Wales Arts International / British Council funded Flourish exhibition in the Czech Republic. I have also organised events, such as Jacuzzi Junta (a regular night where invited artists and musicians were given 15 minutes to perform) and written for a number of arts publications including A-N Magazine, New Welsh Review,  Re-Imaging WalesLocws International and Economy of the Artist.

Supervised by Dr Gareth Loudon and Ingrid Murphy, I am currently enrolled as a Professional Doctorate student, undertaking a programme of research to explore how CSAD can demonstrate the impact of art and design research on society, culture and the economy.
