Specialist Subject Areas

Photography- Studio lighting: Flash and continuous lighting; Digital printing; Large format giclee printing; Wet darkroom process and C41. Silver based and traditional processing methods. Pinhole, Holga and Lomo. Software: Adobe Photoshop, lightroom, Mac and PC operating systems.

Interests: Landscape photography, cinema, early portrait photography such as the ambrotype, French and American photographic history. The British seaside, Motorcycles, classic cars, paragliding, reiki.

Biography

Born in the Rhondda, I have lived and worked in Wales all of my life. I began taking photographs when I was about nine years old and my fascination with the photographic image has not diminished with time. I studied photography at Newport in the 90’s and completed an MA in fine art in 2002. I continue to make and show photographic work locally and nationally.
