Born in Oxfordshire, England in 1980. Graduated in 2001 with 1st Class Honours in Ceramics and became a member of Fireworks Clay Studios, Cardiff, an established artist co-operative. From 2001 to 2007 combined own ceramic practice with part-time lecturing and commission work. Worked in a variety of institutions including UWN, University of Glamorgan and Cardiff Metropolitan University (then UWIC), providing workshops and teaching practical ceramic skills on a variety of levels. In 2005, helped establish a community ceramics production facility in Merthyr Tydfil, making tableware and bespoke ceramics for clients and local businesses. In 2009, appointed Technical Demonstrator in Ceramics at CSAD, Cardiff Metropolitan University.
