Co-Operating for Leadership in Tourism

Cardiff Met, together with partners from Malta and Bulgaria, secured the EU funded project Co-operating for Leadership in Tourism under the ERASMUS+ Programme for education, training, youth and sport 2014-2020.

This project aims to develop and test capacity building, and develop tools to train a team of professional people and trainers with appropriate skills and expertise. These will then be able to directly assist destinations and enterprises towards the growth of sustainable tourism, in line with the priorities of the strategy Europe 2020.

The project focusses on sustainable tourism; management of tourism destinations, heritage sites, events, and the PM4SD qualification which has been designed to plan and implement tourism projects with sustainability in mind. Further information can be found on the projects webpage: Co-Operating for Leadership in Tourism.
