School of Art & Design

School of Education and Social Policy

The Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy includes the Department for Initial Teacher Training, the Department for Professional Development and the Department for Humanities. Across these three departments, lecturers have a broad and varied range of experience and are able to offer applied research and consultancy services, continuing professional development programmes as well as short courses, sharing this expertise with collaborative partners and interested individuals. The School engages with SMEs (small to medium enterprises) and community organisations as well as schools and Local Authorities. The diversity of the skills and knowledge brings a vibrant dynamic to the School which we are keen to share. ​​​

School of Management

Cardiff Metropolitan University proudly focuses on giving its students education, training and experience which enhances employability and personal success. School of Sport & Health Sciences

Sport

In striving to be the UK’s leading School of Sport we look to lead through the quality of our services, enable our partners and stakeholders, and develop a wide netwo​rk of internal and external partners. Our enterprise is achieved through specific centres of excellence that provide bespoke services, education and training opportunities in coaching, performance analysis, dance, leadership and management, sport science, and sport and exercise medicine.

The school possesses high quality academic, coaching and sport development staff and students, as well as first-class facilities and education resources.

 Enterprise in Cardiff School of Sport​

Health Sciences

In addition to our broad range of full and part time programmes across the Health Sciences we are also able to offer both accredited and non-accredited short courses across a range of disciplines.

These provide opportunities for continuing professional development for employees within the workplace, as well as opportunities for individuals to train within new areas.  Many of our short courses also offer a route to further study at degree level.

In addition, the School has established a number of initiatives which share information and expertise with organisations in industry.
