Profile

Dyddgu is the Welsh Medium Provision Strategic Lead in the School of Education and Social Policy – overseeing the high quality and sector leading Welsh medium provision at CSESP.

Dyddgu is also a Senior Lecturer in the School, leading the Welsh provision on BA (hons) Primary Education Studies bilingual degree and contributes to BA Primary Education Studies (with QTS), and BA Early Years Education. She joined the school in 2014, her previous career includes teaching Design & Technology and Engineering at Secondary and Further Education settings.

Extra academic responsibilities include moderator and examiner for Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) and works closely with the A Level Design and Technology subject. She's an external examiner for Cardiff Metropolitan University International partners, and other Universities within the UK.

Dydddgu is also a retired Welsh international rugby player, played in '6 Nations' campaigns, two Rugby World Cups, Rugby Europe tournaments, Welsh Rugby 7s team, represented Barbarians team, and 31 caps for her country.
