Kirsten is a qualified Community Development worker who has worked for a wide variety of community based organisations including the City Farm movement.
Kirsten completed a permaculture design course in 2013 and is a keen gardener, beekeeper and maintains a small woodland in South East Wales. Kirsten has an MSc in Research and has taught in Higher Education for the last 10 years.
Catherine Boswell has been working in higher education since 2005 and has an a MSc in City and Regional Planning She previously worked for a social research company and was the director of a homelessness charity. She has undertaken research briefs for the Welsh Government, NHS and a range of local authorities. Cath retired in 2016 and moved into an intentional community in mid Wales, she also teaches on the Intentional Communities short course.
Liz managed Housing Co-ops in London before taking an MA in Housing Policy and Practice in 1999. Since then she has researched and published about tenant participation and social activism.
Liz is currently the Programme Director for the Foundation in Social Science, and a Senior Lecturer in Sociology.
