Research

Whilst Stuart's background is in rapid Prototyping and industrial model making, a change in career in 2005 resulted in Stuart being appointed as the Health and Safety Advisor for the university, a role which established his current interest in occupational health and wellbeing management.

Recognising the changing shape of Occupational health, safety and wellbeing, Stuart's interests continue to focus upon the development, implementation and promotion of sustainable occupational Health & Wellbeing strategies and interventions in the workplace; and subsequently their effects on employee engagement, health and attendance.

Stuart continues to apply his knowledge in this field as a founding member of the Centre for Occupational Health and Wellbeing (EmWell) at Cardiff Metropolitan University.  Stuart hopes to develop his interests in occupational health, safety and wellbeing  further by starting his PhD in 2014.
