Architectural technology and construction in the UK


​Get a first-hand overview of the role of an architectural technologist. 

​You will learn about delivering the technical designs and architectural detailing of a range of contemporary building types in the UK. 

The programme w​​ill involve a mix of presentations on the theoretical aspects of modern construction practice in the UK, workshops on architectural detailing, building performance and environme​ntal analysis and visits to construction sites to experience first-hand different building methods​. ​

English language requirement: None required, however please note that good working knoweldge of business English is expected and that all classes will be taught through the medium of English.

Academic pre-requisites: Please note that the CSAD modules are aimed at all undergraduate and postgraduate students. Each one of the Art & Design modules will be taught separately for the duration of the summer school and cannot be attended at the same time. ​
