Sport Science has become a popular area of study in higher education and leads to a variety of jobs in the fast developing global sports industry.
You will find out more about sport science and how sports scientists use their knowledge of the human body, the way it moves and the way people think about physical activity, to help you improve your sporting performance and general health.
If you are interested in sport and human physical development, the activities will help you develop a scientific and analytical approach to improving performance. The activities will focus on developing applied scientific knowledge to different aspect of performance such as the development of cardio-vascular fitness, how to improve strength & conditioning, principles of skill development and the psycho-social dimensions of performance.

English language requirement: None required, however please note that good working knoweldge of business English is expected and that all classes will be taught through the medium of English.
Academic pre-requisites: Please note that the above module is aimed at all undergraduate and postgraduate students. Each one of the Sport modules will be taught separately for the duration of the summer school and cannot be attended at the same time.
