Staff Overview

Chris joined the Creative Leadership and Enterprise Centre in January 2010. Prior to joining the Cardiff School of Management, he was Technical Director at The National Centre for Product Design and Development Research (PDR), based at UWIC.

He currently project manages the ESF funded £5.4M 20Twenty Leadership Programme and the £3M Construction Futures Wales Programme, both of which have been designed to stimulate organisational and economic growth through innovative teaching interventions.

Throughout his career as a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE, he has been instrumental in assisting a variety of clients from lone entrepreneurs through to large multi-national companies in the realisation of innovative products and route to market activities within the medical, industrial, public, automotive, leisure, aerospace and defence markets.

Chris has extensive knowledge of setting up and managing Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and has published several papers focusing upon technology management and knowledge transfer in small and medium-sized enterprises.​
