Dr Deborah Lamont is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management, lecturing in information systems and business & management. Dr Lamont teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules across the School, and supervises research students. In addition, Deborah is an e-Learning Faculty Instructor at the University of Liverpool. Dr Lamont has a PhD from the University of the West of England, an MSc (with Distinction) in Information Systems, and a BA Honours in Business Studies. Deborah is currently working towards qualified TEFL status (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
Dr Lamont is an active member of the 'Information Systems, Technology & People' Research Group (IST&P) and has served as a member of the School's Research Degrees Committee. Deborah has received international recognition in the area in which she gained her PhD (the social and cognitive aspects of interaction design), with her most recent paper currently in-press. Deborah's current research focus is on the interaction between technology and the environment.
Dr Lamont is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Program Committee member of the International Business Information Management Association Publishing Scholarly Group (IBIMA).
