Several of Cardiff Met Athletic Union's top teams will compete in this year's BUCS finals.
The university's netball first team will be playing in the Championship Final on Wednesday, in Loughborough after beating Manchester University's first team by three points with a score of 56-53 in the semi final.
Cardiff Met Women's rugby first team will also be heading for a Championship Final when they play against Gloucestershire in Twickenham on Friday, after a resounding 15-0 win against Durham's firsts.
Cardiff Met's women's Futsal team made it to the BUCS semi-final, but narrowly missed out to Durham by 7-5. Futsal is five-a-side and is played indoor on a hard, indoor court with a smaller ball than a regular-sized football.
Three more finals take place at Loughborough University on what has become known as 'Big Wednesday.'
Cardiff Met's women's squash first team have reached the Championship Final after beating Nottingham 3-1; the Women's Rugby 2nd team will play in the Trophy Final following a 19-7 win against Bristol's 1st team, and Cardiff Met Men's Rugby 1st team will play in the Vase final after beating Nottingham's 1st team 35-5.
At the weekend, the women's indoor cricket team will play in the finals at Headingley.
Cardiff Met Director of Sport, Dave Cobner said: "It has been another good year for our sports teams. The investment in our coaching and support infrastructure across a range of sports is really paying dividends."
The Archers' Women's Basketball team missed out on the final after remaining unbeaten in the BUCS league up to the semi-finals. They lost out to Loughborough Riders with an 88-51 scoreline after defeating Sheffield Hallam University by 84-82 in the quarter final.
The men's cricket team also made it to semi-final level and Cardiff Met women's second football team lost in the semi-final of the trophy to Oxford University's first team.
