Cardiff Met’s double shortlist at THELMA Leadership and Management Awards

Cardiff Metropolitan University has been shortlisted in two categories of the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards (THELMA).

​​The Library and Information Services department has been shortlisted in the Outstanding library team category for a joint library shared services project with Cardiff University. The International department has been shortlisted in the Outstanding International Strategy category for their outward student mobility project which provides a range of overseas opportunities to Cardiff Met students and staff.

Now in their seventh year, the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards are a highlight of the academic calendar and a celebration of those in HE who make realities of strategic ambitions and deliver what staff and students need.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 18 June 2015 at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Speaking about the awards, University Vice Chancellor, Professor Antony Chapman said: "Congratulations to the shortlisted departments. It's fantastic that our work is being recognised as among the best in the HE sector alongside peers from other universities."​
