Cardiff Metropolitan University has been ranked No. 15 in the UK for its MBA programme by the Indian Higher Education Review.
A survey was conducted by the Higher Education Review Magazine to list the best universities in the UK for providing MBA and Engineering degrees and Cardiff Met ranked in the top 25.
The survey aims to promote healthy competition between universities and guides students when choosing the right university for them. The survey looks at many aspects of the student journey, including: selection process, scholarships, academic and learning environment, university facilities, and entrepreneurship, amongst others.
Cardiff Met provides a lot of support for Indian students and opened an office in India which offers additional support to the University's Indian MBA applicants. The office opened in partnership with Planet EDU, a highly-respected Indian educational services company, and was officially launched in Delhi in April 2012.
Dr Julia Fallon, Principal Lecturer and Head of the MBA, Cardiff School of Management, and Link Tutor for QAI/Planet EDU, participated in the Welsh trade mission to Mumbai last year to promote the MBA programme to Indian students.
Dr Fallon commented on the ranking: 'It is gratifying to know that Indian students hold Cardiff Met's MBA in high esteem and I am delighted by this ranking in the Higher Education Review. Everyone at Cardiff Met works hard to create a positive learning environment for students and we look forward to welcoming more of India's future managers and entrepreneurs'.
