Cardiff Met support equal opportunities through Sanctuary Award

The University, in partnership with the Students' Union, Cardiff Met STAR Student Society and the Article 26 Project, is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship; the Cardiff Met Sanctuary Award.

The scholarship targets people seeking sanctuary in Cardiff who do not have access to funds to allow them to further their education at university. It will provide support to individuals who have fled their countries and who are striving to rebuild their lives, support their families and contribute to society.

In order to be considered for the Cardiff Met Sanctuary Award, applicants must be in receipt of an offer to study a postgraduate taught course at Cardiff Met in autumn 2017 and meet all of the eligibility criteria listed in the application guidance. The scholarship consists of a full fee waiver, bus pass, daily lunch voucher and personal support.

Applicants must apply by 17.00 GMT on 30 June 2017. Further details can be found on the University's website: www.cardiffmet.ac.uk/sanctuaryaward
