Cardiff Metropolitan University has 19 partnerships with universities and colleges in Wales and internationally, with over 6,500 students studying Cardiff Met awards overseas.
In Wales, Cardiff Met offers programmes at Further Education colleges and private providers in a range of subjects including Building Technology, Art and Design or Health and Social Care.
Cardiff Met has acknowledged the recent published results of Bridgend College's Estyn report. The College has raised standards and has been praised by Estyn, who rated Bridgend College for its current performance and prospects for improvement as excellent.
The report states: "Success rates show a rising upward trend over the three year period from 2011-2012 to 2013-2014. The overall rate at which learners successfully complete their qualifications has risen from 77% to 85%."
Cardiff Met's Pro-Vice Chancellor (International), Professor Mohamed Loutfi, expressed his delight in Bridgend College's achievements: "We at Cardiff Met are thrilled to hear about the positive results of the Estyn report for Bridgend College. Bridgend College offers courses in GCSEs, A-levels, vocational qualifications, apprenticeships and higher education.
