Student reps from across the world recently took part in the annual Students’ Union partner event.
A total of 11 students attended, all of whom study Cardiff Met degrees at the following partner institutions:
- Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - Egypt
- Gulf College - Oman
- London School of Commerce - UK
- Modern University for Business and Science - Lebanon
- Perrotis College - Greece
- Superior Institutions for Science and Technology - Morocco
- Universal Business School - India
- Varna University of Management - Bulgaria
During their visit, students took part in training and had tours of both the Llandaff and Cyncoed campuses, where they met students and staff.
students also had the chance to explore Cardiff with SU staff and Vice-President, Will Fuller - meeting The Deputy Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Georgina Phillips at the Mansion House.
Miltiadis Roidis, a student from Perrotis College in Greece who attended the event said: “I definitely improved my skills as a representative. I learned many interesting things that I didn’t know about Cardiff Met itself as well as several tools and services that will definitely change students’ studying experience.”
Students’ Union Vice-President, Will Fuller, added: “The event was a fantastic opportunity for Cardiff Met students from around the globe to learn, share ideas and explore the city. It was an action packed few days and I hope all the students will return to their institutions and pass on their new knowledge and experiences of Cardiff Met and the city of Cardiff”.
