Students honoured degree awards at recent graduation ceremony



​The most recent graduation ceremony, held on the 13th of February 2015, at City Hall, Cardiff, which was opened and closed the The Rt. Hon the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Margaret Jones, saw a total of 238 students cross the stage to receive their awards.

The student's receiving awards from the Universities Vice Chancellor and Principal, Professor Antony Chapman, included those from Cardiff School of Management's partner London School of Commerce. Students honoured at the ceremony represented 60 countries including Afghanistan, Colombia, Gambia, Mali, Morocco, Nepal (see full list below).

Throughout the ceremony, a live stream was available worldwide, and reached over 800 hits from 34 different countries. 

As well as the student's receiving their awards, Student Union President, Josh Barnett presented a Student Led Teaching Fellowship award for Outstanding Teacher to London School of Commerce Lecturer, Roger Telfer.

The ceremony was a huge success, thanks to the 43  members of staff, from 11 different departments that helped make the day. Cardiff Met would like to thank all of those involved and looks forward to the next ceremonies in July 2015.
