​In 2009, Cardiff Metropolitan University entered into a partnership with the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST). AAST was established in 1972 as a specialised a​gency of the Arab League, engaging in the educational, training and research activities related to the marine transport industry, science and management.

Cardiff Metropolitan University programmes are offered at three campuses- Cairo campus, Alexandria campus and Smart Village campus (located outside Cairo).​​​


​Cardiff Metropolitan University offers the following programmes in partnership with AAST:
