Collaboration: Franchise and Validation
Perrotis College was founded under the name of Dimitris Perrotis College (DPC) of Agriculture, Environment & Life Sciences in 1995 through an endowment from Mrs. Aliki Perroti in order to offer higher education programmes for careers in the food and agricultural industries. This was a branch of the American Farm School, and was a Laboratory of Free Studies. DPC formally changed its name to Perrotis College in 2015.
The collaboration between Perrotis College and Cardiff Metropolitan University commenced in 2006 with the validation of two programmes: BSc Environmental Systems Management and BSc International Business Management. Designed by Perrotis College, these programmes are fully quality assured and moderated by the University.
In 2011, the University approved Perrotis College to undertake the BSc Food Science and Technology degree via a franchise arrangement, subject to full quality assurance and moderation. Students successfully completing the below programmes at Perrotis College are eligible for Cardiff Metropolitan degrees and are entitled to attend the graduation ceremony in Cardiff.
