Universal Business School (UBS) is situated at newly built residential campus in Karjat, two hours from Mumbai. UBS is a division of Strive India Education Foundation, Mumbai, which is a Not for Profit company registered under the Indian Companies Act. The Foundation was established by Gurdip Anand Singh, a former senior manager at a number of Indian and multinational companies including Burmah Shell, his son Tarundeep Singh, former Managing Director of Thompson Reuters in South Asia and Babulal Varma, Managing Director of a leading construction firm in Mumbai.
UBS has excellent links with industry, and has a Governing Body comprising over 50 eminent academics and business leaders from India and beyond. UBS prides itself on being India's first 'Green Business School', with an aim of developing effective and ethically conscious leaders who will contribute to a green economy.
