BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science is endorsed by the British Association of Sp​ort and Exercise Sciences.

Cardiff is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, Capital City.  Cardiff is an ideal place to spend your university years; it has a variety of sporting venues and plays host to world class events.​

Sporting Excellence through a close relationship between the School and the Athletic Union, Cardiff Met supports students in their quest for sporting excellence. Students can compete in the BUCS Championship and in National and Local League competitions.​

Growing Research Culture. There are over 30 research active staff in the School with diverse research interests

High Employability on Completion of Degree Course. 98% of School of S​port graduates secure employment or undertake further study within 6 months of completing their degree*.

The School has a Work Placement Office with administration support and a Work Based Learning Coordinator.  

This service will promote and liaise with the private, public and voluntary organisations who currently work with the Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences.

​Our aim is to produce ‘work ready students’ who have the knowledge, understanding and skill set to allow them to compete in the competitive employment market.

Sport Scholarships
There are two sport scholarships available. The aim of the Cardiff Met Sports Bursary & Scholarship Scheme is to assist students ​of exceptional sporting ability to develop their academic and sporting talents to their fullest potential. 

Cyncoed Campus
Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences and all its teaching and practical facilities are situated on the Cyncoed Campus. The campus is compact, friendly and within easy reach of local shops, Cardiff city centre and road and rail transport links.

Zambia Project
In an attempt to try and tackle some of Zambia’s issues, two non government organisations (NGOs) in Zambia, Sport in Action and EduSport run Sport for Development projects across Zambia, with the majority of the projects focused in and around the nations capital Lusaka.
