I joined Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2012 as a part-time technician demonstrator (physiology) after completing both a BSc and MSc in Sports Science at Brunel University.
Under the supervision of Dr Joseph Esformes (Director of Studies), Dr. Eric Stöhr and Professor Rob Shave, I am currently completing a PhD entitled 'The acute responses and long-term cardiovascular adaptations to strength training; Implications for performance and health.'
Research / Publications
Alongside my research in cardiovascular physiology and resistance exercise, I am also interested in the physiology of the female athlete and the use of mathematical modelling in sport.
