Additionally Laurie supports much of the research undertaken by undergraduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral researchers helping to make informed decisions regarding equipment and methodological best practice.

Research / Publications

I am currently conducting research with the Sports Biomechanics research group in the area of biomechanics and motor-control. My PhD research is focused on the influence of task constraint and training drills upon elite sports performance. In particular, looking at the pole vault approach phase in both elite and developmental populations.
