Catered accommodation includes breakfast and dinner 7 days a week during term time!

 

     How it works?

All meals will be taken in the K1 restaurant.

 Simply turn up at meal times and present your University ID card at the checkout

Breakfast is served from 8am – 10.30am

Dinner is served from 4.30pm - 7.pm

These times may be adjusted for your convenience during exam periods.

What's on the menu

Breakfast – 7 days a week

Fruit juice, tea, coffee with either a continental breakfast or any 5 items from our breakfast menu.

Dinner - 7 days a week

A soup and main course OR main course and dessert.

What is on the menu

​Breakfast

The most important meal of the day – Choose from a 5 item cooked breakfast to a continental breakfast. You will always find something to kick-start your day.

Breakfast Menu   

Fruit juice, tea or coffee

  • Plus any 5 of the following:

  • Bacon

  • Sausage (meat or vegetarian)

  • Eggs (fried or scrambled, poached on request)

  • Baked beans

  • Fried tomato

  • Hash brown

  • Porridge

  • Cereal selection with milk

  • Assorted yoghurt

  • A selection of fruit

  • Toast with butter or preserve 

Evening Meal

Select from a two-course dinner with a choice of 3 main courses that include a vegetarian or vegan option with a choice of seasonal fresh vegetables and potatoes. Your meal comes with a choice of tea, coffee, soft drink or water.

Here's a sample of the dishes you could be tucking into

  •     Steamed salmon in a chilli glaze with noodles
  •     Welsh roast beef with Yorkshire pudding.
  •     Tandoori Chicken & Rice
  •     Lasagne & garlic bread
  •     Mexican chicken burritos
  •     A range of Homemade soups with a crusty roll
  •     Mixed bean chilli
  •     Tofu & mushroom curry
  •     Spaghetti carbonara
  •     Cottage pie
  •     Beef in a black bean sauce with noodles
  •     Jacket potatoes with various fillings
  •     Marinated chicken served in a tortilla wrap. 

Meal Times

Breakfast Monday to Friday 8am - 10.30am

Breakfast Saturday & Sunday 9.00am-11.00am
Evening meal Monday to Friday 4.30pm – 7pm

Evening meal Saturday & Sunday 4pm – 6pm

Guests and students living in self-catered halls are all welcome to join you for breakfast and dinner
