Career Development Services provide face-to-face and online careers support for students and graduates.  As well as an extensive website with careers information tailored to your course you will have access to impartial, professional career guidance centered around your individual needs, helping you to identify and work towards your chosen career path and to practice the skills necessary to get that graduate level job.  Support includes work experience, an online database of vacation, part-time, volunteering and graduate vacancies and lots of opportunities to meet employers, including presentations and careers fairs.

A comprehensive programme of careers education is provided - online, through your course and through a series of lunchtime workshops so you can learn how to plan your career and reach your goals.

Cardiff Met Students' Union offers a training & development programme delivered by industry experts. The programme is available throughout the academic year and includes training sessions on skills such as: use of social media, personal branding and leadership skills as well as CV, interview and presentation skills.

The UMAX Jobshop aims to provide students and graduates with job opportunities including part time, full time, internships and voluntary positions.
