What difference has the scholarship made?
'When it came down to choosing a university, I wanted to balance my academic life with my sporting life and It didn't take me long to realise that Cardiff Metropolitan University was perfect for me to enhance my education and also provide support for me to accomplish my sporting goals. I have received world class support from Cardiff Met, in an expensive sport with very little funding put into it, the use of sports massage, strength and conditioning, gym membership and physiotherapy have aided my training to increase my performance levels. I receive a campus allowance, this is perfect for me as I can sit down and have a meal, or if I am in a rush to get to training I can pick up a meal deal to take with me.'
