​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Whether you are joining us as a part-time student on one of our professional undergraduate programmes or as a postgraduate student looking to further your expertise, we hope that you find your time here a very rewarding and enjoyable e​xperience.

Programme Joining Information

The programme joining information will explain a little more about your course, provide Programme Director contact details, and explain when you will need to first attend. You will find your pack listed within the relevant School sections below,​ and you can click here for information on Enrolment​To access information for research students please click here.

It is important that you view your joining information as early as possible so that you have sufficient time to comply with any special requirements for your​ ​programme, and know where and when to attend on your first day.

Late Arrivals
If for any reason you are unable to make your induction or have been accepted to the university as a late applicant, you will find contact details for your programme team in your specific joining pack below.  Please ensure you contact the team as soon as possible to inform them if you are missing induction and they will be able to confirm when you will next be expected on Campus.  

When you arrive at the university, the I-Zone (Information Zone) near the Main Reception desk will be able to assist you if you need to contact a specific member of staff.

​Cardiff School of Art & Design

If you are joining the School of Art & Design for 2017,  you will receive an email directing you to your Induction Information through Met Connect.  The email will contain your login details for you to be able to access Met Connect.

For 2017 entry Cardiff School of Health Sciences and Cardiff School of Sport will be known as Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences.  Please note, if you are joining HNC Health & Social Care or HNC/Dip/BSc Housing Studies, your course is now within the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy.  These courses will still be located on the Llandaff campus.

Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences - Cyncoed Campus

PLEASE NOTE that your joining information will be available within our Met Connect service, for which you should have already received details via email (or will be receiving in due course if you have recently been made your offer). Met Connect will take you through your programme pre-enrolment tasks and module information, as well as information on ordering your​ sport kit, before directing you to the online enrolment process. Once you have completed your enrolment you will need to revisit Met Connect to make sure you are aware of your Induction timetable for your first week. 


If you have not received the Met Connect details two weeks before the start of your programme, please conta​ct Admissions.​
