YOUR CARDIFF MET INDUCTION: MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS IT!
Your Induction Week will commence on Monday 18th September 2017. Your first day at Cardff Met, will be academic-led and designed to support your transition into your chosen programme of study.
A Freshers Fayre will be held on Wednesday 20th September 2017 at our Cyncoed Campus, which will involve a range of social activities, opportunities for you to meet staff and fellow students, join clubs or societies and find out about the range of support services available to you.
There is also the MetFest taking place on Friday 22nd September 2017 at the Llandaff Campus. This social event will be a celebration of the start of your new journey at Cardiff Met, and will be a great opportunity for you to make new friends.
During Induction Week, you will also meet with your Personal Tutor, who will be a key point of contact for you during your time at Cardiff Met for academic-related support and guidance.

have chosen to study with us. This is where you will find more information on the content of your Induction Week. Make sure you read this Introductory Information as well as your course specific induction and enrolment information.
Students starting in Year 1 or Foundation Year
Your Induction and Enrolment information contains all the important information you need to know before arriving on campus. This may include summer project work or reading lists you can get familiar with.

As an advanced entry new student with Cardiff Met, we have put together information for you so you are prepared to start your course with us in September.

For Home and EU students, when your place is confirmed and you have met all the other non-academic conditions of your offer such as DBS if applicable to your course, you will be sent an email with instructions of how to enrol. When you have received the email you can visit the
enrolment pages to complete your online enrolment.
If you are an International student (from outside the EU), you will not be required to enrol online before arriving at Cardiff Met. This is because it is a legal requirement for the university to check immigration documents before you are permitted to enrol onto your course.
