At Cardiff Met, we have been providing Initial Teacher Education (ITE) provision for over 60 years and are recognised as being amongst the largest centres of teacher education and training in the UK. Home to Cardiff Partnership for ITE we work in collaboration with our partners to ensure that student teachers not only achieve but seek to surpass professional standards for QTS.

We offer accredited PGCE’s in Primary and Secondary, as well as PGCE PCET for teaching in the post 16 sector. In addition we offer a range of specialist Education Masters programmes in Additional Learning Needs, Leadership, Policy and Practice, TESOL and Youth & Community Work.
