How to find us




Visiting us for an Appointment

• The Assessment Centre Cardiff Metropolitan University is located on the 2nd floor of A Block, Llandaff Campus.  This is above the main reception and I-Zone areas as indicated on the map above.

• Please ask for directions from Cardiff Metropolitan's Main Reception to Student Services.

• If you anticipate difficulties with access, please contact us on 029 2041 6170 or 
e-mail us at prior to your appointment.

• Access is via stairs or lift: the lift door is 80cm wide and cabin 140cm deep. Minimum door width likely to be encountered is 77cm.

• Please aim to arrive at least ten minutes before your appointment. If travelling by car, allow additional time to find parking.

• If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact us at the first possible opportunity. This will enable us to arrange an alternative date and to ensure that other individuals may benefit from the vacant slot.

Other Travel Options:

Walking or Bike from Central Cardiff:

Follow the Taff Trail from Sofia Gardens until you reach the end of the cricket ground, then turn left, then right. Continue through the park past the equestrian centre until you reach Western Avenue. Turn left onto Western Avenue you will see Cardiff Metropolitan University Llandaff Campus on the opposite side of the road.

Cardiff Bus to and from Central Cardiff:

• Services 1 or 2 stop directly outside Cardiff Metropolitan University Llandaff Campus, but take a circuitous route. 

• Services 25 and 62 go from the central bus station (stand B4). Ask for the Palace Rd / Western Avenue Junction- after alighting from the bus, cross to the far side of the dual carriageway and turn right down Western Avenue. Cardiff Metropolitan University is 300yds down this dual carriageway.

• Services 24 and 60 return to central Cardiff. On leaving Cardiff Metropolitan University, cross Western Avenue, turn right and head down the one way slip road (signed "City Centre"). Turn left at the end of this road and you will see the bus stop.

It is important to note that Cardiff Buses are exact fare only, all buses are accessible. Manual or electric wheelchairs can be accommodated on low floor buses up to the size of 1200mm long and 700mm wide. Mobility scooters cannot be carried.
