We’re helping to make sure that adults from any background or ethnic group are given a fair and equal opportunity to study at university in a supported way.
If you are a mature student, adult learner or interested in learning in your community and want to try a short course for progression into the university, then we can help. We work with communities offering opportunities to non-traditional learners which are accessible and flexible.
Our short courses are open to all adults over 18 years old. However, priority is given to learners who:
- live in areas of multiple deprivation
- have not accessed Higher Education opportunities
- are claiming Government Benefits (excluding child benefit)
- are on low incomes or facing ‘in work poverty’
- are a full-time unpaid carer or care leaver
- have been referred by one of our partner organisations.
