Biography
Nick graduated from UWE’s BA (Hons) Fashion/Textiles in 2007 where he won the prestigious Gold Award at Graduate Fashion Week (GFW).
For the next nine years, he worked as a fashion knitwear designer in both the luxury and high-street sectors, based in the UK and overseas. In 2016 Nick returned to the UK to study on the MA Textile Design Innovation at Nottingham Trent University where he developed practice-based research with a focus on inclusivity within art and design.
In his teaching career, Nick is passionate about sustainable design practices. Working with both analogue and digital technologies he encourages students to innovate with processes and materials, exploring how to re-imagine and reduce waste.
