Cardiff Met, through Key Action 1 International Credit Mobility (ICM) funding, offers grants for students, academic staff and professional services staff. These grants are financed by the European Commission under the
Erasmus+ Programme.
The grant provides a contribution towards travel and subsistence costs.
Call for Application for staff exchanges through the ICM 2020 Project is now closed! Results will be issued to applicants at the beginning of May 2022.

Erasmus+ Post Brexit Update:
Following the UK’s departure from the European Union, the UK will not be participating in the new Erasmus+ programme (2021 – 2027).
Cardiff Metropolitan University will continue to participate in the current Erasmus+ programme until the end of our 2020 project, which is until 31 July 2023.
We will have limited funds available through Erasmus to support eligible staff only for mobilities in 2022/23.
Outgoing students are now being offered alternative opportunities via the Turing Scheme. More information can be found

COVID 19 Update:
2019 ICM Project - Project end date 31st July 2022
For staff nominees who were meant to undertake their mobility, unfortunately until we have further guidance on when the travel restrictions will be lifted and universities re-open, there is no guarantee that your mobility will proceed and be utilised by the end of July 2022.

This summarises the advice and guidance that they have provided National Agencies with to date, and will be updated as and when necessary.
