The Cardiff Met EDGE is a series of Ethical,
Digital, Global and Entrepreneurial skills that develop
confidence, resilience and experiences and prepare our students for life after
university and through to employment. The Global Academies incorporate the
Cardiff Met EDGE in our taught programmes, internships, and project-based
learning so that our students get out into the field and into the workplace as
part of their degree to apply their academic learning to real-world situations.
We provide our students with a global perspective through research and
education that focuses on global issues, spanning disciplines and countries to
generate world-wide impact.
The Global Academies provide us with a framework that
enables us to demonstrate how the research and education at Cardiff Met
contributes to global challenges. By articulating our place in the world we are
able to embed this global thinking in our students, empowering them with the
knowledge and skills they need to make a difference.
