Our Transition Events are aimed at supporting students prepare for University life.


Transition to University – Neurodiversity

Location: Llandaff Campus with a visit to Cyncoed Campus

Open to all students who have disclosed a neurodivergent condition, such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia.

What to expect

  • An introduction into University life and the support we provide.
  • Complete key enrolment tasks so you don’t need to worry about this in your first week.
  • Visit University halls and meet the accommodation team.
  • Familiarise yourself with the key locations on campus and in our online learning environment.
  • Meet key members of the Wellbeing and wider Cardiff Met student support teams. We will use this time to begin to plan your support for the academic year ahead.
  • Find your way around your student email and other University systems.

You can ask any questions you may have before your first week at Cardiff Met. Some of our current students will also be available to help provide answers to your questions.
