Keeping everybody safe

Male student in a face covering

We introduced the use of non-medical face coverings in summer 2020 to support the return of staff and students to campus as an additional mitigation in areas where social distancing was not possible, and are committed to keeping this policy under review in line with government advice, research on transmisssibiluty and other mitigating factors.

The new, more highly transmissible variants of Covid-19 in circulation in the UK have increased the risk of transmission, and while there has been no evidence that there has been any transmission of the virus in campus buildings, we must all continue to play our part.

You can read the latest version of the non-medial face coverings policy for more information.
