Teaching
Jude is a qualified nurse with over 20 years experience in various aspects of nursing in both the public and private sector and joint posts with Social Services. Areas she has covered range from Public Health, Primary Care, Clinical Governance and Senior Management. Jude's most recent post in practice was as clinical lead for Chronic Conditions for a Welsh Health Board. She is module leader for Applied Sociological Aspects of Health, Risk, Positive Approaches to Health, Personal and Professional Development Year 2 & Social History of Medicine.
Research
Jude is undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Nursing in Cardiff University. Her thesis is looking at resilience in mature female undergraduate students. Other areas of interest include chronic illness, philosophy of health and social history.
