Tour of Cardiff
During your first week at Cardiff Met we are arranging for you to have a tour of Cardiff, where you will see top attractions of Wales' Capital City including a visit to Cardiff Castle.
London
This trip is a great way to get a taste of the capital city of the UK. London is one of the most famous and exciting cities in the world and there is an incredible amount to see and do. London is set on the River Thames and is a 21st century city that is bursting with history.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the city on your own so that you can visit the beautiful landmarks of London, do a bit of shopping or just soak up the busy atmosphere of a British city.
Don’t forget to visit the following iconic sites:
- Westminster Abbey
- Houses of Parliament
- Big Ben
- London Eye
- Horse Guards Parade
- Number 10 Downing Street
- Trafalgar Square
- Buckingham Palace
Wales*
During your 2nd week at Cardiff Met we will take you to a destination in Wales * weather permitting. This trip could include a visit to the Big Pit or Swansea and the Gower.
The Real Underground Experience - Big Pit National Coal Museum
Big Pit is a real coal mine and one of Britain's leading mining museums.
or
Swansea, which is the second largest city in Wales is known for its many attractions and its miles of sandy coastlines.
Whilst in Swansea there will be a selection of visitor attractions for you to visit such as:
